From the Divine Family

I don’t know where to begin. Words are inadequate. You and the dojo have been like family over the years. Our boys have grown and expanded in size, strength and character and your presence and teachings have played an important role in their success. We thank you for your good work, your world view, your consistency, your encouragement and support. We leave Elite Dojo better people for knowing you. In respect and gratitude we offer our best wishes for continued success and happiness.

From a dedicated Karate Mom

Discovering the Elite Dojo and having the chance to meet Sensei Reshel came at a critical time in my daughter’s life. At that point, most everything came easy to Katie except when it came time to focus on the task at hand. I began to learn the fundamentals of martial arts and found it to be the perfect fit for my 5 year old child. She was going through many transitions in school and at daycare and in life. In the next few weeks, I observed her reciting parts of ”Code of Conduct”, realizing these are the same things my husband and I wish to instill in our children, like respect. I also observed her sitting with her eyes closed on the mat in complete silence with the other ”warrior princesses” for minutes at a time, something I had not witnessed before. Katie began to perform with more confidence and spirit that I had seen before. I knew right then and still today that this is a perfect life tool for me, my child and my family.

A letter from the Miller Family who moved to Florida:

Sensei Reshel,

I just wanted to touch base and let you know how much we miss you. Michelle just met the Sensei of another school and although he was nice and seems to have a decent school, I left with such a sadness with missing the Elite Dojo. Michelle is very committed achieving her black belt. She met with the local tennis instructor and rocked her initial lesson. When I asked Michelle what she would choose if she had choose one, she said, it would be karate because she wants her black belt and wants to make her sensei in WI proud. It just melted my heart. One thing I noticed during his initial consultation was that he talked more to me than her. At the Elite Dojo you always put the kids first. Yes, it is the parents who have to pay, but seeing the interaction between you and the kids is wonderful. You and the instructors and students will always have a special place in our hearts!

With Love,

The Millers

A note from the Riley family:

Sensei,

I wanted to send a quick thank you. Liam is really enjoying his experience at the Elite Dojo. As a parent it is extremely rewarding to see your child learn new skills, develop core values and love doing it. We really appreciate the extra effort you have put into making Liam feel comfortable. Almost every day he still brings up the obstacle course. He loved it! He also really enjoyed his first testing experience. He can’t wait to test again.

Thank you for running such a great program. We are very excited to be a part of the Elite Dojo Family.

In watching the Fall Challenge Matches, I was surprised by the level of skill of these students. I was so proud of the students, they competed very hard, fairly, never backed down and never relented. My son’s opponent ended up winning the closely fought match. With the presentation, my son, Jack showed good sportsmanship by applauding his competitor when they handed his opponent the winning trophy (Jack does not take losing well, but this showed how Jack is also growing in this area.  Watching Jack taking his Orange belt test helped me realize just how much Jack has grown and benefited from his experience at his Dojo. I’m humbled and proud of what these children do each day.
